Versatile - By design, the Zego™ Sports Boat is effective in a wide variety of applications. Its incredible stability and shallow draft make it an excellent platform for the Solo Fisherman or parent/child team. Its rugged construction and payload capability help it serve as a Waterborne Workhorse that doesn't need to be babied. Equipped with optional tank racks and ZegoStep™ ladder, the Zego™ makes a Diving Tender that is far easier to board than any craft of its small size. And of course, at heart it's a Sport Boat, designed for loads of fun whether you're zipping across calm water or pushing your way through the breakers.

Stable - With a low center of gravity coupled with twin hulled catamaran design, the Zego™ Sports Boat lets you feel confident in all but the most severe conditions on the open water. And, with a beam of over 5 feet, an adult standing on the front deck of a Zego™ at rest has negligible impact on the balance of the boat. Further optimizing the balance dynamics, the hull/center pod attachment is two stage adjustable, to allow for set up of with a variety of motor sizes.

Lightweight - The fully accessorized Zego™ Sports Boat weighs approximately 325 lbs without the motor. With full front deck, fishing rod holder and maximum hp motor, the boat weighs just less than 550 lbs. The boat's light weight makes ramp launch and landing a one-person job and, coupled with its durable polyethylene construction, make beaching the boat an easy, no-risk proposition. Even combined with a trailer, the tow weight is less than 900 lbs, a pull that can be handled easily by most 4 cylinder cars.

Durable - The Zego™ Sports Boat is manufactured from industrial polyethylene, a particularly tough plastic able to withstand all kinds of abuse. Polyethylene is resistant to salt, weather, punctures, delamination and many of the other maladies that affect inflatables and fiberglass boats. With this rugged construction (hull walls are 5/16" thick) there's no need to be overly concerned about casual contact with rocks, docks and pilings or about landing on a pebbly beach. And, in the event of any cosmetic damage, repairs are easily accomplished with simple tools and without the need of any exotic materials.

Safe - The hulls of the Zego™ Sports Boat are 65% filled with a closed cell foam that does not absorb water. Even in the unlikely event you were to compromise either one or both hulls, the Zego's™ design ensures level floatation with the motor, battery and fuel supply remaining above the "flooded" water line and operational.
